Topic starter
I was looking to purchase a Toyota Celica 2004 GTS with a mileage of 164,200 from a small dealership. Everything looked ok at first glance from my novice view before startup, except the steering fluid was black/dirty. I asked the dealer for the key so that I could start it up. Once I started it, the engine light was on. I grabbed my scanner and it stated the code P2441 'Secondary air injection system switching valve stuck closed bank1'.
After that, I did not purchase.
Any ideas?

You did the right thing by walking away.
Thank you. Does it mean a bad engine or expensive engine work?
It's not necessarily a bad motor. It's all about the engine work needed. https://www.autocodes.com/p2441_toyota.html
Thanks for the information
