Good afternoon I have a 2000 Toyota Camry with 128,000 miles, is the infamous 2.2 four-cylinder engine, I have a bad passenger side CV axle it does a little pop every now and then it does clicking as a drive, my general question is how long can I drive before it really goes bad? Obviously I’m gonna get it replaced as soon as I can, I just wanna know if there’s anything particularly bad that would happen if I don’t get it replaced like now, thanks!!!

With the part being relatively cheap I'd get it over with asap, you don't want it breaking & leaving you stranded with a giant tow bill.

There is no time line. Once it starts making noise and or there is visible damage it can fail at any time. Don't risk it replace it, you don't want to risk more damage. I can give you 2 examples. My  Honda crv the front driver cv made just 1 single clunk and there was no visible damage, 10 seconds later it failed completely.  My friends Volkswagen golf has been clunking really bad for 8 months and the boot is torn and he is still driving it.
