Toyota Frame recall-Coating-Do it or not???

Scotty, so I saw your video on the 2005 Tundra where the US dealers refuse to replace the frame as it still rotted AFTER they did there coating. I have a 2015 Tacoma and just got the recall to do the inspection and then possible CRC coating. I, like you, beleive coating over rust does not sound like the best thing to do unless the rust is pre-treated with like PICKLEX or a Rust mort. Living in the northeast and now the use of salt brine I always do what I call a "power washing" of the underside of my tacoma, especially the frame inners and outers as soon as it gets warm. Today I do see some corrosion on the actual weld beads, but only surfacey on them. So my question is "should I have the recall performed"? Says if I do NOT have it done I will NOT be eligible fro frame replacement coverage per ZKA customer support program. This recall then extends the frame coverage for 12 years from date of first use so in my case that is until 2026 as It was registered 9/2014.  Thoughts??? Plan to keep this TACO a loooong time as I am retired and love the truck.

Ask any potential dealership that would do this what they do to scrape off pre-existing rust before the recoat. If they don't rid the frame of pre-existing rust, the coating will accelerate that pre-existing rust.

Why NOT have it done. It keeps the onus on Toyota which seem like a good idea to me.

My daughter had a Tacoma which Toyota bought back (for more than she thought it was worth) because of frame damage.
