(sorry to ignore the Prius here, but I am)
Looking at Yaris 2020, Corolla hatchback 2019, and Corolla iM 2018. Automatic transmissions.
These all seem to be the same, except made in different years. How are they all that much different? How do they compare? Are they all good in your experience?
I was trying to buy a corolla hatch but they're too expensive in the market rn, and am considering getting a cheaper toyota hatch.

Yaris 2020
As far as the NORTH American version:
Small hatchback built by Mazda, essentially a Mazda CX-3 in hatchback form.
Tiny car, two feet shorter than a regular Corolla sedan.
Personally I only liked the sedan version, it's quite cute.
I'm not familiar with the 1.3L SkyActive.
As far as the powertrain of the 1.5L, it's reliable, but 35mpg is disappointing.
The 6 speed automatic is very durable.
This is not a competitor for a Corolla, it is absolutely tiny.
It was replaced by the new Yaris, a much better car,
but Toyota doesn't seem to have any plans to launch it in America.
Corolla iM 2018
Well that's the European version of the Corolla, the "Auris".
It's just a Corolla with a nice boot, the 1.8L is good and the CVT is meh.
Corolla hatchback 2019,
That's the updated corolla, they moved it to the Prius platform.
It had either the exact same 1.8L+CVT powertrain, or the new and improved 2.0L+Launch gear CVT. each with it's pluses and minuses.

Well it's just a Corolla Hybrid.
Same platform, same engine, same powertrain, but slightly bigger battery (the Prius has a 0.75kWh, while the Corolla has 1.3 kWh - not necessarily good, but a difference)
The Prius, as always, just a well built hybrid - but I wouldn't overpay, it's efficient but not enough to overpay.
The 2018 Corolla is from the previous generation, while the 2019 Corolla is from the current generation. The Yaris is a different car, smaller than the Corolla and is quite similar to the Mazda 2.
