Hey Scotty, used to have the Aurion V6 3.5l with 6 speed auto and was amazing. Now have the new Highlander with the 8 speed auto which is nowhere near as smooth and a bit clunky. Believe they used this engine and gearbox in previous Lexus. What is your view on them please?

They aren't horrible transmissions but they aren't the smoothest I am assuming eventually Toyota and Lexus will figure out what kind of software they can put into those things or how to redesign them in the newer models.but it's more of an annoyance than anything else cuz I've never seen one actually break and not work
