I am having difficulty finding much information online, but I am told that one can buy a low mileage 5.7L 3UR-FE Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) engine out of a Land Cruiser or Lexus vehicle, and have it shipped to the states.
Do any of you have experience with the 3UR-FE from JDM?
Is it a plug and play swap into a factory 5.7L 2007 Tundra?

I understand that all 3UR-FE intended for the Land Cruiser and LX570 are cast and assembled in Tahara, Japan.
