I have a 2016 Toyota Aqua (Prius C) Japanese import. I'm considering replacing the dim signal bulbs with brighter LED alternatives but I've read that hyperflash could be an issue.
In other cars I've owned, this was solved by installing resistors or a special relay. Would like to avoid the former since the latter should be more straightforward and cleaner. However, I'm having difficulty locating anything on its whereabouts in the car and which relay I'd need to get.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

For my experience you just have to install resistors. They are just put on the power line going to the lights. It's not hard to do
