I'm interested in buying a used Rav4, manual 5 speed trans, 2/3 doors model with 210.000km (130k miles) for 3000 euros (3600 usd). The exterior seems to be in excellent shape, but the steering wheel is in rough shape. Is it a good price?

My other option would be a Suzuki Grand vitara(2005-2007) but it would be at least 1500 euros more.  Wich car should i get?

Thank you so much!

Pick the RAV4 between those two!

If the steering wheel is in really rough shape, you first want to ensure that the mileage on that RAV4 is genuine. Toyota diesels are renowned for being extremely reliable, so it’s very possible that the car could have its odometer tampered. Ask for proof of genuine mileage from things such as service history receipts, car inspection reports, etc.

Lastly, no matter what you buy, have it checked out thoroughly by a professional mechanic, before you buy it.

Try your best to bring the price down.

RAV4+diesel+manual would be an amazing combo steering wheels ware out with age its 20 years old so its expected.

I wouldn't pay 50% more to get an inferior vehicle (in terms of reliability).

As price is concerned, the Grand Vitaria is downright overpriced for the age, and the RAV4 is a bit on the high side but if you get it for below 2500 euros then it should be good enough.
