[Solved] Toyota Sequoia’06 2wd 300k advice

Hi Mr Kilmer!
I have been watching your videos for so long and I’m thrilled you are finally closer to me. I’m in SC right in the NC line. Do you work on vehicles - namely a ‘06 Toyota Sequoia 2wd, mileage right at 300k. I have had it for 10 years and I can not buy anything else right now. I’m a single mom and keep being told different things about it, and I’m not sure who to trust.
When I had the drive shaft and rear bearing pack replaced I was told it needs front bearings, gasket cover, and possibly a transmission, even though the mechanics scanner doesn’t show transmission issues. At about 37mph if accelerating it rumbles or stutters, maybe like when you hit the rumble strips on the side of the road. It is leaking minor amount of something (only noticeable when it rains and a rainbow like spectrum runs across my driveway).  But it’s not using oil so I’m not sure that’s it.  And there is a burning smell when you get out after having driven it.
Should I put the money in it or give up on it?  I do love this vehicle and would be happy for my soon to be driving daughter to be in something safe. At this point it is still going, so every day I just tell myself it’s one more day without a car payment. But I don’t want to push it beyond repair.
If you think doing the repairs on this vehicle (that I know you think highly of)  is a good idea, then I will. Or time to move on?
And if you are doing repairs I would happily bring it to you! Thank you so much for your channel(s) and all the wonderful information that even a mom with no car skills can understand!

If you want to keep it or get rid of it, your choice, but I would keep it as long as possible. You made an immaculate choice getting a Toyota, they can really run a long time!

Congrats on your daughter getting a well made car to start with!
