Transmission Fluid change 07 toyota avalon

Topic starter

I am the owner of a 2007 toyota avalon with 162000 miles on it. I was wondering if I could change the transmission fluid or is it too risky now? I have no other service records to indicate it was ever changed.

I want my car to last as long as possible

Toyota recommends that vehicles featuring an automatic transmission have their fluid changed every 60,000 to 100,000 miles. Vehicles with manual transmissions should have their fluid changed every 30,000 to 60,000 miles.
