Hey guys, I’ve had this issue with my 08 Chevy Colorado 4L60e transmission truck for awhile. While cruising down the street at 35-45 mph and the torque converter is locked up, i’ll let up on the throttle to coast and after a few seconds my tachometer will will dip into high three digit range before going back up. I think that lockup is disengaging and trans is basically in neutral until the computer realizes and shifts back to regular 4th. I can feel the truck slight yank and pull until i put my foot back on the gas. None of this is a problem at highway speeds. Trans fluid is basically new and clean, filled up to where it needs to be. I’ll attach links to my videos on youtube that just shows it happening.

In the description of the videos i have time stamps where you can see the tachometer dip. Truck runs and drives almost perfect otherwise. What could this be? Is it even the transmission?
Per posting instructions, what’s your mileage please.
56,535 miles.
I didn’t catch anything unusual in the videos so maybe you can point out what I should look for at which time.
but in any case I would take it to a transmission specialist who can use diagnostic tools to analyze the transmission and diagnose the problem. There isn’t much that the average guy can do with it.
