I live in Europe and I have a renault clio 2013 that have a turbo charged 900 cc 3 cylinder engine with a 5 speed manual transmission, as a result I get phenomenal gas mileage, and pretty good performance. The problem is when I release the clutch after shifting gears the car really shakes like if I left my foot off the clutch pedal really quick, no matter how slowly I do it. Unless I give it a tiny bit of gas as I release the pedal. This happens between first and second gear, between second and third is pretty noticeable as well but it gets less noticeable from there on. I asked about the problem tow deferent mechanics and both of them said it was because of the small turbo charged engine the shifts will be rough. I learned how to shift smoothly and lived with it but I want to know if the mechanics where right. By the way the car got only 85,000 km on the clock and for you who isn’t familiar with this car it’s a small hatchback that weighs 1,200 kg.

Well yeah really. They took a tiny engine turbocharged to get power, but that's strange. Everything. Now you could have a weak transmission mount somewhere or you can even have where in the clutch in the transmission that would cost shuttering like that too. Of course the only way you can find that I would be to pull the transmission off and inspect the clutch parts which isn't cheap
