Used Dept. of Homeland Security Suburban 2500

Hi Scotty, I'm considering buying an 08 Suburban three quarter ton that through a dealer who buys at government auction. My thoughts are that for the mileage of 120K, the price of $16K is a good deal. I'm sure that these vehicles get all of the regularly scheduled maintenance, but I worry about how the vehicle was driven.

Is there anything I should look out for when test driving? Should I just run for the hills and pay the extra $5K?

Anything you could add would be greatly appreciated. Love your Youtube Channel!

It's probably been beaten nearly to death. Make sure a mechanic checks it out thoroughly.

is it armored?

I'd check the gov't auction sites if you have your heart set on one, much cheaper.

Prior to bidding you can bring a mechanic with you to the base or yard it's at to check it out.
