Used Vehicle for my Daughter

Hi, first want to say how much I've enjoyed tour Channel and how much it has influenced and reinforced my views on vehicles today. My daughter has a 2011 Chevy Cruse that has been nothing but a money pit. I got it before I realized what #@$t they are. Right now it is in the shop, again, as it lost all its coolant and had to be toed to the GM dealer. They looked at it and are having troubles finding the leak. Oh brother. It is frustrating as my daughter lives in Vancouver, and I live 8 hours North and have to "trust" the GM dealer in Vancouver. No hands on for me. So this is the last straw for me and we are going to get rid of the cruse, on way or another. My daughter has a friend that has a 2009 2wd Mazda(Ford) B2600i for sale with 140K or 87,000 miles. It has an automatic transmission. They are asking $7,500 for it, Canadian Trudeau dollars. As you have noted and we have experienced good used vehicles are hard to come by these days. 1) is $7,500 an OK price? 2) What is your experience with the Mazda/Ford trucks? My Dad had a 1991 Mazda B2600i that he bought new and handed down to my daughter and then my son. It was totaled off when a logging truck pulled out in front of my son. He was OK, the truck not so much. It was a great truck.

Again thanks for your channel.

Tim Barker.

Prefer manuals over automatics and anything from Toyota, Honda, Mazda under 100.000km will do fine. Its about after 100.000km that cars start to need expensive repairs
