Using Japanese coolant in American cars.

Hey there. So Dex-Cool is an OAT with no phosphate or silicates. It has 2-EHA and sebacate.

After doing some research I see 2-EHA can plasticize rubber gaskets causing then to leak. I also saw phosphate does wonders for aluminum parts.

My question is can using a coolant with some phosphate but no silicates or 2-EHA damage my chevy's aluminum header/cast iron block engine?

How much of your "chevy's aluminum header/cast iron block engine" was made in Japan?  Or is it a Chinese motor?  How much difference is there between a Chinese or Japanese Chevy motor?

What rated coolant does your Chevy call for?

"Prestone DEX-COOL™ antifreeze+coolant - Ready To Use (50/50 Prediluted) is specially designed to work with All GM® vehicles 1995 & newer (GM approved), most Ford® vehicles 2011 - 2018 and most Chrysler® vehicles 2013 & newer."

For clarification my car is a 2014 chevy cruze with a 1.4L turbo. It's rated for Dex-Cool but for the reasons above I want to use Japanese coolants (Honda/Mazda). The engine is made in the U.S.
