If there's something you would like to hear more about in a Scotty video, post it here.

(after you search to see if it's already been done)

Scotty! OK, I've had enough you've gotta stop doing this!

Scotty you're driving me mental when you say "VIN Number" & "CVT Transmission" (insert laughing horse head here) LOL 😆 . Everybody knows what these acronyms mean, (insert dumbass guy with thick glasses here) so can you just say VIN & CVT from now on, thank you.
You're awesome Scotty, thanks for telling the truth about everything cars.

warm regards,

Tons of people are asking about whether specific General Motor's cars are good so that could be a topic:

Which GM cars are good?

Scotty, maybe can you do a video where you can get your friend. Bernie. to invite you for a factory tour that shows how his additives are made? I would be very interested in a video like that.

Can you make a video on a 2007-2013 Chevy Avalanche LTZ? I think they are very reliable and have never had a poor experience with anything mechanical.

Scotty can you please do a video about tire shine? Some people say it will damage the tires others say it doesn’t.

Scotty, can you show us how to understand your Autel? You spin that thing like it's the Wheel of Fortune and just rattle it off like you made the thing yourself. It's like listening to ya speak hieroglyphics and I love every second of it even though I haven't learned enough yet to keep up.

Red is a very naughty color!

It's funny because you'll show us that part and it's all black and it's like the car's too scared of you to show you red codes.

Could you run it all down to us like we're five and it's our first day learning something or hearing words?

Essentially someone could just look up definitions but the magic is you revving it up for us like you always do.  Can't find that anywhere else on earth.  That's the difference.

I know ya tell us about it all the time but a big video we can follow along to in depth would be super cool.  Only if ya want to.  Much love,  appreciate everything ya do for us.

For the record from what I'm reading here, your titles are not only perfectly fine as they are but  they're great as they are.  It's a part of the charm. Please never change. (Basic titles are so basic and they've been done since the beginning of time. )

Something like "How To Recover From Being Stupid And Finally Understand How To Learn How To Learn Something" then ya just rip us to shreds about the Autel. We don't just want it,  we need it.  Thanks bestie.

@bingray We get this question a lot. The entire field of auto diagnostics is far too much to cover in one video. A video can only focus on a specific topic at a time. That's why Scotty is smart and takes a practical problem>analysis>solution approach. If you have a specific question or problem you need to solve then post it an we'll do our best to help you.

.

The Autel manual will probably be of help to you. Usually there's an automatic function you can enter and it will find and summarize all the vehicles problems for you. That's the best starting point.

In my head it would be cool if he could scroll the Autel and chatter about each one a little bit longer. Not that what he already does when he goes through it isn't incredible though. It's just fascinating. I'm not shocked that it's been asked a lot because it would be rad as ever.

Scotty could definitely handle running down the entire field of diagnostics in one video. He can do anything. He's Scotty.

I really do get what you're saying though, but still, I can dream can't I? Haha

I don't need help with it, just find it fascinating. If I wasn't lazy and kept up the hobby I'd crack out the notebook when he gets to the Autel part of the videos. The day I can afford that Autel will cause me to pass away because looking through it be all I'll want do.

He's such a master of it. He could put together a killer sub twenty minute video blasting through it. In my head, at least. Wouldn't have to be a Standford level thesis on diagnostics.

Still, even if it's too much for a video we still get to learn about it anyway while he's using it for specific cars and it's the coolest thing in the world.

Next time my older friends say "You're young, I'm not like I used to be." I'm gonna show them Scotty to remind them that youth still has a price like everything else - you can't suddenly learn what experience instills in you. He flies through that thing like he's reading playing cards outloud and it's intense. I feel like making vocabulary index cards and rewatching just to keep up with him. It's wild in my eyes. Autel is just super interesting. People walk the earth that envisioned that and created it while other people walk the earth and can't chew gum and walk at the same time.

Not trying to start an argument that he should, just simply wishing he'd consider someday, is all. Appreciate ya, I'll check out the manual sometime soon for fun. Didn't cross my mind, I was gonna do it the harder way.
