CHEERS MATE!
Get something cheap & simple like this (I’m not endorsing this product in any way whatsoever) -
I have to say, CHEERS 4 the web link, Thrustwetrust, i understand your NOT endorsing a product, yet u have saved me a few bucks by your added link. this is my way to go Thanks 2 u. Keep motoring my friend TA!
No worries mate, always happy to help. Tah
Read the output specifications on the dash cam power supply.
Read the output specifications on the tire doodad power supply.
Add the current (amps) together. Voltage is irrelevant.
Is it less than the cigar light fuse rating?
Also, I would be cautious about having so many things plugged in. You might come back to a flat battery one day.
Why not just get a $3 tire gauge and call it a day?
lost cam specs on packaging years ago,
it should be stamped right into the power supply or product
TA! Joe, makes sense, lost cam specs on packaging years ago, so no AMP rating known. TPMS not got yet, may steer away from lighter socket amps go solar as thrust advised. CHEERS 4 your input mate.
Amps x volts = watts. All electrical components use a certain amount of watts. Find out how many watts your accessories use. Find the fuse rating for the lighter circuit. For example, if the lighter fuse is 20 amps and the voltage at the lighter with the car running is 14, it means you have 280 watts available. If your accessories used together exceed this, it won't work. You could always wire a separate circuit for the TPM system using its own, inline fuse.
