Some people have "daily drivers" and a "weekend toy". Scotty even uses the term "knock around" car, which I don't even know what that means. What are the "types" of cars you have? And what models/years do you use for each "type"?
Well I have all 3. Daily driver is of course the daily. My 2015 golf TSI. Weekend car is the car for more pleasure which would be my 1987 bmw e30, well at least before covid. It's the car to go festivals and gatherings and canyon carving for me at least. And then knock around car is the car that you could give less of a F about. Which would be my buddy and I 1999 honda civic. We gutted the interior and are welding together a "ute" frame just for shits and grins lol
@bruceree
Thanks for describing what a knock around car means.
@bruceree
i think a club could be formed for racing low cost cars around the countryside would be fun, lowest cost car gets a head start, the Craigslist 500 maybe, or the JuanMileRattle Battle
@bruceree
That would be hilarious.

Lemon racing is a real thing! There are also lemon rally's! Prices are typically anything goes less than $1000 and you'd be surprised on how creative people can be, I haven't actually attended one but I heard that they are pretty fun events and see em on youtube every once in a while.

@clemsonrangers
Damn, you have 8 cars!!! I'd be hard to give up the 1997 Camry too. That's my favorite Camry generation out of every single generation.
I bought it new, drives great, brought my new baby home in it, wife drove it 10 years, then my mother drove it 10 years, lots of strange sounds and memories haha
