Two options...both 2014 supercrew...should I buy one with more miles for less money and buy rebuilt engine or just go with higher priced one with lower miles. In my uneducated mind it is saves money to go with the one with more miles and get rebuilt engine...but I have zero experience and wanted to get some real expert advice from people with nothing to gain from me.

With milage, the engine is far from the only thing that's getting worn.

the $10k difference doesn't cover what it'd cost to fix/replace the engine, transmission, steering, and suspension.

Which are all kind of weak on the F-150 and tend to fail after 200k miles.

It really depends how each one was used, the higher milage one really does look like it was used as a work truck for towing.

I'd check the latter one first, if it's in good shape it might be the better choice -

although if you can wait, maybe that's also a good idea as the market is currently too hot.

I'd consider maybe getting a Tacoma / Tundra instead -

2014, as it seems, was a good year for both the F-150 and the Tachoma

But not for the tundra, with that I'd either go 2013 or 2015.
