Scotty, please please help me. My car has 190,000 miles. (2005 Chevy Corsa Comfort 1.8 liter manual). I use 15w40 (Castrol) since I bought it, what the manual states. I need to change to high mileage oil I think because I think the valve seals are old. It blows a bit of blue when idling after I have been at a light. Should I use 20w50 OR 10w40 (high mileage) ??? (can't find 15w40 high mileage where I live, Mexico) Thank you so much in advance. I have been watching all your videos for ages. Great job. Cheers. Denis...

HI. Can't find it. Like I said, I use 15w40, but in high mileage that is not available where I live. So should I go up to 20w50 high mileage or down to 10w40 high mileage??? (my guess is a bit thicker as a bit thinner might cause leaks)

Just keep doing what you're doing and keep filling it as it gets low. Oil is cheap, engines are expensive.

Have you tried a new PCV valve if it has one? I'm not very familiar with diesel engines if it has one.
