Hey Scotty love the vids keep up the great work. I was wondering why Toyota decided to name their new suv the Corolla cross. Does it have anything to do with the Toyota Corolla? Do you think it will be as reliable as the Corolla? And what’s up with more and more people wanting SUVS these days.

Yeah I just decided to call it a cross cuz what they call a crossover vehicle it's just a name and they're basically Toyota Corollas shrunk down a little

If the Corolla SE is good, then the Corolla Cross will also be good. Both have the exact same engine and tranny.
Not every new model has new things. For example, my wife's 2020 Corolla LE is the first year of the generation, but the engine and tranny are still using the previous generation one.
