Which OBD-II scanner should I buy

I have the following vehicles and drivers:

  • 1998 Toyota Camry LE with 170,000 miles driven by a 22yo
  • 2000 Ford Mustang Base V6 with 235,000 miles drive by a 19yo
  • 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan RT with 210,000 miles driven by my wife and a 16yo
  • 2016 Dodge Charger RT with 233,000 miles driving by me

We are planning to purchase a newer used Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey within the next year for my wife and the Grand Caravan would be used only by the 16yo. In the past couple of years, I have done more and more of my own maintenance on these cars as well as a friends Nissan Cube, Juke, and Quest , ie. brakes, shocks, spark plugs. I am interested in doing more work on the cars as well. I would also like to do an engine rebuild on the Charger while increasing the HP after we get a 5th vehicle.

I currently have the BlueDriver Bluetooth Pro scanner. I would be interested in getting a scanner that can not only read but test things as well.

What scanner would you recommend?
