Which Toyota Avensis to buy?

Hi Scotty!

Please can you help me select a model of Toyota Avensis T25 (the UK produced)?
I live in Czech - middle Europe.

I already made a decision about the model, but not sure about the engine or pitfalls.

I attached a graph with my mileage and options for engines.

What do you think?

Or should I even look for the model before the facelift?

And thank you very much for being Scotty! I already read your book and I am looking forward to maintaining basic stuff on Toyota. Now I have 2019 Kia Rio and dealership, car service fees are total rip-offs and they treat you like garbage. So after watching your videos I have decided for Toyota.

My friend has T25 after facelift Station Wagon 2.2D 150hpr and 250.000km(155.000miles).

He has no trouble at all and the car still looks like new. He says 2.0 are more reliable. But my knowledge does not go so far.

Thank you very much for your help!

Get the 2l with the manual transmission and whichever has the lowest mileage. Scotty always recommends to have a mechanic you trust to check out the car before buying it just incase! Those will hold up the longest out of the options. The rest of the options are up to you and what you like/need in your van. GL car shopping my dude!

Thank you for the advice.
(GL car shopping my dude! )-2L - gasoline you meant?
The mechanic will be involved for sure.
Thanks

@jacksonishere
GL is short for "Good Luck"

I am not sure but as far as I know Toyota's diesel engines are pretty good and their gasoline 1.8 I4 is one of the best engines they ever made. Manuel prefered but their autos are decent enough.
