Why does my 4 low engage when wheels are turned?

Scotty, I have a 08 Chrysler Aspen 5.7 Hemi that when the wheels are turned left or right it drops into 4 low. I changed the 4wd motor, dash selector switch and had it looked at by Chrysler who said to change the computer module which I did and yet it's still happening. I'm just short of changing the transfer case but thought it would be wise to ask you before going down that rabbit hole. We like the truck and I'm willing to fix it but I'm at my wits end. Open to any ideas at this point.

Check if the wiring for the 4wd system is coming in contact with anything or if it's shorting.

Is the switch on the column by any chance?

do any tc light come on or anything? I'm wondering if the vehicle thinks the wheels are starting to slip so it engages the 4wd. I'm assuming this is happening when on the auto 4wd setting.. if thats the case its probably better to just drive in 2wd anyway, only use 4wd when needed. My guess its in the tcs system or a sensor at the wheel, but ive never dealt with one of these personally.
