Hi Scotty ,
I watch your videos frequently and hopefully you can give some insight into the issues my car is having. I have a 2013 gt500 that I have had since it was new and it only has 34k miles. I live in the DFW area but even though there are a lot of ford dealer service options near it has been nightmare finding one who could do the work my car needed doing have had to do it myself . At this point I’m getting crazy wheel speed information I have asked multiple ford dealers about the situation but they ignored me I have a think car scanner that is able to do live data etc . When I do a scan KOEO with e brake on the scanner is telling me the car thinks all 4 wheels are going .62 MPH . Which shouldn’t be right when the car is parked it will also show the yaw rates jumping around when car is KOEO when the car isn’t moving. The live data when driving is also erratic it looks ok but when parking the car after driving I did a scan and the scanner showed me that the left front wheel was going 1.24 mph the left rear wheel 2.49 and both right tires still .62 mph when car not moving , it will look fine then show me the crazy data . The car has also has a U0401:81-08 code that one ford service tried telling me is a ghost code but common sense tells me that is very doubtful they have told me the car is fine but I know it isn’t . a few days ago I did a scan and car still has the U0401:81 code but now it also has a P0297:00-28 code now too . I know the P0297 code is an over speed code BUT the car hasn’t been in a situation that was even close to being overspeed. Help please , what could this be 😫 ?
Well you codes are communication codes meaning there's a problem the communication system on the computer bus line. It can be wiring or it could be a module gone bad or even sensors that have gone bad. Then they feed back into the module and cause nutty data to be thrown out. But you found out the idiots at the Ford dealer don't know how to fix anything like that because they're basically hiring idiots these days to work on the cars. They don't pay him enough. Don't train them enough and when they get a problem like that they just throw up their hands and say they don't know what's wrong. You're going to have to find a reofforward mechanic or understands the electronics inside and out to find out where the electronic failure is. Good luck!
