| Cooling Fan Assembly in 2013 Ford Edge Ltd v6 | 19Relevance | 5 years ago | FloridaTim81 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi Scotty, love your channel. I hope you are enjoying Rhode Island. Check out the Portuguese-American fishing fleet if they are still in business. May I ask you a question, please? The wife noticed in her 2013 ford edge Ltd v6, about 90k miles, that the ac wasn't working. I had purchased a Blue Driver on your recommendation. It gave two codes: B1252, temperature internal sensor Circuit Short To Battery:Circuit Short to Ground, and P0480, fan control circuit. I brought it to a local shop and they told me I needed a new fan assembly for parts and labor ... | |||||

| I have a 2013 AWD ford edge SEL with 191xxx miles. I was using it to jump start my 2017 Peterbilt 579(which this time was unsuccessful) for maybe about an hour or so. The batteries were drained so I left it hooked up to try and recharge them enough to crank the truck over. Well, as I stated earlier that didn't work. When I was leaving in my edge the *AWD disabled* message popped up and the car started idling funny. I stopped and turned the vehicle off and let it sit there for a couple minuets. Then it drove fine. I drove it to a gas station for fuel w ... | |||||

I recently plugged in my scan tool and I got a bunch of trouble codes. The weird thing is that there was no check engine light. My car runs and drives perfectly normal. Here's what the codes are: PCM: P0316 Misfire Detected On Startup (First 1000 Revolutions) ABS: B1111 Electric Park Brake Enable, U0265 Lost Communication with Image Processing Sensor A IPC (instrument ...

| Good day, I'm right now looking to buy a used SUV that can occasionally haul an ATV during the summer. I'm looking at a 2019 ford edge SEL AWD with a 4 cyl 2.0L Ecoboost engine, that has 47,000 miles on it. I haven't heard anything real negative about the ford edge and I'm curious if it would be a viable option. Thanks | |||||

| Hello all. I have a problem.I own a automatic 2008 ford edge that is in very good shape, but when I accelerate and reach speeds of the 22 and 25 mph my vehicle gives a slight jerk/ buck and the RPM's shoot up slightly (like it slipped, i guess. never had any car that had a slipping issue so im going in blind with a few videos watched). I haven't 'felt' or 'noticed' it doing this at higher speeds or lower speeds. I dont have any check engine lights on and yes the light works. checked fluid, no browning, no burning and its not low. any help would be great. ... | |||||

| ... to run the scanner to get the codes . 2nd and 3rd cylinder misfire . They replaced the eco boost 2.o which was still under warranty . This replacing the faulty motor with a newer faulty design motor without a fix that is different than the first time , I have lost confidence . I’ve been looking to find a Toyota Mazda or Honda in the used lot to swap this car out with. Not finding anything acceptable yet …but this is a house of ford so this will be a crapshoot … taking too much time. Pulling out of this will hurt my credit . Should I take it back and take m ... | |||||

| The ford Ranger edge is really no different than any other Ranger in that generation. "Edge" is just a trim name. My 1999 Ranger is badged 4×4 Off-Road, which they ended in 2000, replacing it with just a 4×4 badge on the tailgate. ford added the FX4 badging toward the end, as well as revived the "Splash" trim at another time. For most intents and purposes, they're practically the same truck with only slight differences. Rangers in that generation came with either a 2.3L I-4, 2.5L I-4, 3.0L Vulcan V6, or one of two 4.0L Cologne V6 variants, SOHC or OHV, all d ... | |||||

| I checked out a couple. The ford edge and the 2006 Honda CRV. The Honda has had continual recalls, as recent as last year. The air bags have many, many recalls, the electrical system and the accelerator pedal. What a surprise for Honda, huh? The ford edge reviews warn of water pump going out with no warning, uncomfortable seating. Oh well. The search continues. Thanks for the link Wingman. | |||||

| For half-ton trucks if we are talking about just in the last 6 years (so going back to model year 2015), then for longevity it comes down to only the Toyota Tundra and ford F-150 (and for the ford F-150 it comes down to only model years 2015-2017 with the 2nd Gen 5.0 Coyote V8 and 6-speed AT; forget about the Ecoboost versions, the Gen 3 5.0 Coyote V8 and the 10-speed AT). For reliability and longevity, the Tundra will have the edge over the F-150, but for towing (especially loads nearing 10,000 lbs) and work truck the F-150 has the edge. | |||||

| My neighbor has a ford edge and she ran over something on the freeway that caused a small hole in her gas tank. I looked online and it says a tank replacement install would cost around $1800-3900. Should I try and help her patch the small hole up or is it better if she just replaces the whole tank. I know her car can be a pain to get the tank out of. Pretty sure those ford edge's make you take the seats out to get a few of the bolts. Damn engineers.. If anyone has any help, she's willing to pay me if I can get it patched up/fixed. Just want to make sure it's ... | |||||

The person that I bought the car from was in his early 20s and admitted he was in over his head. At the time I was working 12+ hour days following hurricanes that destroyed a good portion of our state. | Answer to: 4 Cylinder engine VS. V4 engine | 17Relevance | 5 years ago | Chuck Tobias | Submit Your Question HERE
| @kesterpaul62, that's close but not quite accurate. The V4 was a ford engine originally developed for the stillborn ford Cardinal that was intended for the U.S. market and then repurposed for production and sale by ford of Germany. The V4 was most definitely a 4-stroke engine. It was quite conventional aside from the configuration which was designed for a longitudinal front-drive layout, so compactness was a primary consideration. A single balance shaft was employed in its design to mitigate some of the inherent imbalance. The ford Cardinal was actually rea ... | |||||

| Hi all, after filling up my 2022 ford edge powered by a 2.0 Ecoboost with 34,000 miles on the odometer the car was idling extremely rough, it felt like it wanted to stall. As soon as I accelerated it felt fine. No check engine light is on. I was thinking low pressure fuel pump. However, I don't think that's it because the symptoms only occur at idle. What could it be? | |||||
