| ... reducing strain somewhat. My step dad has a 2.0 EcoBoost Escape and it's done well for him. I had a 1.6L EcoBoost in a 2013 fusion, it got great gas mileage on the highway but it really lacked power, granted the fusion is much bigger than the Focus-based Escape. After driving his 2.0, I wanted that motor in my fusion. | |||||

| Did you do anything to honk off your friend? Something would have to be horribly wrong with that fusion to make an 18-year-old high-mileage Caravan look like a better choice. At a minimum, since the fusion is 13 years old the prospect of needing a new hybrid battery in the near future ($$$$) is very likely, let alone any other issues it may have. You would need a hybrid expert to go over that thing with a fine-toothed comb to determine its true condition. | |||||
| Answer to: Should I buy a 2019 Ford Fusion hybrid? | 20Relevance | 2 years ago | kingpin | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Well in the video Scotty made he said the prius rides like crap and the fusion rode real nice . He also said the fusion was assembled in Mexico. He talked like they were good cars. My main concern in an older one is how long (on average) do the batteries last before needing replaced. I'm seeing some used ones 12 years plus with well over 150,000 miles on them. | |||||

| Hello Scotty, I own a 2015 Ford fusion SE with a 1.5 ltr ecotech engine. Live in Michigan in the Detroit area. The fusion is a very popular car here. Car is in excellent condition and runs great with 58,000 miles. Gas mileage averages between 29 and 31 MPG. Having no problems currently. I maintain it well. Oil changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, air and cabin filters changed on a regular basis too. My concern is maintenance on the transmission and coolant fluids and spark plugs. When should they be changed? I plan to keep this car for awhile. Wat ... | |||||

| Okay, I’m having a kid. Hurray the species continues. And the missus has declared we need an SUV. I planned on driving my 2006 Ford fusion with its 224,000 miles right up until the universe stopped expanding and everything on earth ceased to exist. She has other plans and at the end of the day, why argue with the wife. Especially since she’s buying the SUV. So, the fusion and I will be forever. Now I’m going to delve into stereotypes here so don’t get offended it just is what it is. If you see a person with a pick up truck jacked 10 feet in the air you mak ... | |||||
| Answer to: Cars to buy as a recent grad | 20Relevance | 5 years ago | Kerem | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| It depends on the type and price. In the 5-8k range a Midsize car I could reccomend is the Ford fusion specifically the 2010-2012. Scotty's used cars to buy are the- Honda Civic (I would say the best are 2007-2011 especilly in your price range) Toyota Corolla (Low miles 2006-2008 Would be your best bet but 2012 is what he put though it will have more miles and is cheaper on the interior) 2012 Ford fusion 2011 Camry (Again, this is cheaper made than the earlier 2006 and before camries and would be too expensive for a good one so consider a 2005-2006 in go ... | |||||
| Ford Focus 2013 Front bearing noise.....maybe | 20Relevance | 5 years ago | Bootstrap | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| ... etc.....some sort of front bearing noise. never goes away. you don't feel it in the steering wheel. rotating tires does not help. tire inspection shows just a slight cupping on inside of all 4 tires..slightly. The car has had the clutch transmission shutter worked on 2 times. Clutches replaced, etc. Still, I hear a "bearing noise". Almost convinced its a bearing or CV Axle noise. no Clicking. a "bearing Noise". I also have a newer Ford fusion with 3000 miles on it. Michelin X Energy tires. A very quiet car. I have switched the Cooper and ... | |||||

| Should I buy a 2008 Ford Fusion with high mileage? | 20Relevance | 3 years ago | NicJay | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Team, I came across a used 2008 Ford fusion on Offer Up from a private seller asking $1300 and willing to take $900 lowest with a clean title, and mileage is 412,854 miles. From the pictures, the car seems to be in good condition and the seller says the car only needs a starter that she has ordered with no other mechanical issues. I know Scotty has recommended that certain cars are good and will still run great with this mileage but is this 2008 ford fusion one of them? | |||||

| Looking at a cheap run around car for $8900 bucks. I know it won’t be a Toyota or Honda reliability but is this 2011 fusion known to have any serious issues? Should I just run away from it? I watched Scotty’s video on the fusion he rented and it seemed like he did like them. Thanks for the input. | |||||
