| First up, that's not really an Infiniti, it's just a Mercedes GLA 250 with an Infiniti body, they are endless money pits with all those Mercedes Benz gadgets and engines. If you want a real Infiniti SUV that can last, the FX or EX crossover are the ones to have, great cars. | |||||
| Answer to: What do we know about the Infiniti QX30 2017-2019 ? | 27Relevance | 4 years ago | Dan | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| It’s a result of the cooperation between Renault (owners of Infiniti) and Daimler. Its a rebadged Mercedes GLA. avoid it. This "Japanese" car was built in Northern England and designed in Germany, Turns out modern ridiculously bad German engineering and "British car craftsmanship" - mix well horridly. --- POWERTRAIN --- The powertrain is a mess also. Anyone who has things a Mercedes engine is a bonus, just lacks experience with their modern products. Modern Mercedes engines are nightmares - they make Chinese engines (such as the VEA) look li ... | |||||
| Buying a Infiniti 2007 Qx56 that needs a cage cluster replaced | 27Relevance | 5 years ago | Merideth | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| hey Scotty, I'm in the market to buy another Infiniti Qx56. I've had the 2004 version and I loved hearing my husband yell out NOOO! When he realized my 04 had adoptive cruise control and his 2012 Lincoln mkz did not. I've also had the 2011 Infiniti Qx56 which was complete junk in my opinion and I was grateful I was paid out 2 grand more for what I paid when it was totaled. Have you ever worked on any 2004-2010 Infiniti Qx56s? if so what do u think I should be aware of when buying from private seller? So far I keep hearing the gauge cluster needs replacing ... | |||||

| 2005 Infiniti g35 coupe (auto) hey there! recently had a minor collision in the Infiniti where we rear ended someone. a crash sensor was deployed and the car instantly shut off. no airbags. car came right back on after some work but the transmission goes straight to ‘3’ when putting the shifter in ‘D’. just wondering, after doing all the resets i can find and this still persists, think it needs a new transmission? thanks | |||||
| RE: Can someone explain what a A/T Low coast brake system is? | 25Relevance | 6 years ago | Aktazf | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Thank you for the info. It is a 2003 Infiniti g35. So far there have been no symptoms other than the service engine light. I am really hoping that it is just a faulty wire. I have one other code that I am fairly certain is a damaged wire. I have heard a lot of Infiniti's have electrical issues. Do you have any idea where the cable that controls this valve would be on the trans so I can inspect it? | |||||

| Infiniti as reliable as nissan? | 24Relevance | 6 years ago | anthonynardacci | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I know Nissans are pretty reliable, my grandmother has had her 2010 maxima since brand new and has never had any issues. She uses it as a daily driver and drives 40 mins to and from work. she has racked up 175k miles and it still runs strong. Would the Infiniti g35 or g37 be capable of doing the same? | |||||

| Yes, if a mechanic okays it & you plan to use it as a weekend toy. No, if you plan to use it as your daily driver since they are costly to fix as they age. | |||||

| Ok here is the thing. I like the new 2022 Infiniti Qx60 styling and it's much nicer than the old Qx60 which was outdated as hell and used a CVT, but I would wait to see how it holds up. Zf makes great transmissions and the ZF 9 speed while some people think the transmission is at fault, it's actually not and I would say that in terms of smoothness its on par with the Aisin 8 speed auto which is what Toyota uses and they had their initial issues but they have been ironing them out. Honda, FCA, and Landrover/Jaguar use this transmission for their vehicles, and ... | |||||

| The Infiniti Q30 was developed as part of the partnership between Mercedes and Renault (owners of both Nissan and Infiniti). This car wasn't very long lived, the production run was only 3 years long and only 30K units were sold in the US. Reliability on these is questionable at best, Infiniti used a small turbocharged 4-cylinder (the Mercedes M270) but it's an older design used on Mercedes B-class taxies - I've seen them go about 150,000 miles. Really not bad for a turbocharged small 4 cylinder. The transmission on the other hand is a 7G-DCT, also k ... | |||||
| Infiniti Q50 2016 Turbo Failure Diagnosis/Reasons? | 27Relevance | 5 years ago | scgamer.d | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi everyone.I own Infiniti Q50 2016 (2nd owner) with 43K miles. I am not sure if first owner was as "gentle" with the car (as far as I know they did manufacturer recommended maintenance with perhaps single lapse of oil change that was about 10-15K miles back in 2017), but I treat my car nicely and take it for regular maintenance and don't beat on it. Long story short, I ended up having to replace my failing turbos (thankfully covered under 5 year manufacturer PowerTrain warranty). Now I am trying to understand what actually caused it in the first place, I do ... | |||||

| Dealerships tend to overcharge on old used cars, so make sure you don't overpay for a car with 135k miles, generally, I would pay like 3-4 grand for that Infiniti considering the mileage and age. If a mechanic says it's good, it's well maintained, you don't drive the heck out of it like most people do when they buy those Infinitis, you take care of it, go ahead and buy it, they are great fun, and reliable cars. IMO its one of the best cars Infiniti made and they are much better built than the Nissan cars since they are made in Japan. People tend to underesti ... | |||||

| Infiniti Code P0327 - Knock Sensor? | 24Relevance | 6 years ago | Aktazf | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| My 2003 Infiniti g35 service light came on. I checked at autozone and the code read was a P0327. From what I have read that is likely the knock sensor or knock sensor harness. The guy at autozone said It is more likely the camshaft position sensor. What do you think and what should I replace? Also I know I need new brake pads soon. I don't think that would throw a code correct? I attached what the obd2 scanner read. | |||||
