| Hello, Thank you for the replies! first, this is my second account, my Krovax account has been banned for some reason I don't know. If I could get back the account I would reply in that account for this question. (I had to make another account so that I can reply to you guys.) first, my problem is that I can't anymore sell the car. You guys are right that I might have bought the wrong first car, but I'm still thankful that I've been learning a lot about DIY fixing and maybe my second car I will be able to make better decisions. About the problem: It's ba ... | |||||

| Now I'm gonna turn 16 soon and my parents are already getting on me about my license. Don't get me wrong, I love cars and I'm a huge Fast and Furious fan. But I'm wondering, what are some of the best first cars? I was looking at some cars including the 05' Chevy Impala, a Toyota Corolla or Camry, or a Civic. And if so, should I get a manual transmission, or an automatic for my first car? Also, what's your opinion on a 2007 Mercedes-Benz S550 4matic. It has around 175,000 miles and it's an automatic. | |||||

| Perplexing stalling problem | 11Relevance | 4 years ago | BluSteel | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Vehicle: 1999 Honda Accord EX Coupe, 3.0L V6, 64,000 miles, auto trans. This vehicle has an intermittent stalling problem that has been going on for about 2 years. Symptoms: The first time it stalled I was driving down the highway about 50 mph and it was as if the passenger reached over and shut the key off. No warning, no stuttering...just shut off. I coasted to the side of the road. I was afraid that the catalytic converter would catch the grass on fire, so I tried to restart the car. It started right up, and I drove off. The car ran perfectly after that. ... | |||||

| The Auris is basically a Corolla. And my top recommendations for first cars, new or used are either a Corolla or a Civic because of there time tested quality and reliability (for the most part). So the Auris sounds like an excellent first car. | |||||

| Corollas are good first car and can last forever if taken care of. My brother owns a 2013 and almost has 200k in it. He drives it everywhere. he bought it with 5k miles in it in 2013 ever since then he has only done regular oil/fluid changes and brake jobs and last year he had to change the battery in it for the first time. | |||||

| In all honesty your first car is most likely not going to be a awesome looking car I’d personally look for a Toyota celica not necessarily a very cool look personally, but a Mazda Miata for a good price if he’s looking for a great car nice sporty look to it, maybe even a Toyota Camry looks pretty nice though older look but nice or maybe a Lincoln town car looks decent luxurious and affordable too but it’s a boat of a car an bad on gas but very reliable, all of these cars are reliable though but everyone has there own taste in style | |||||

But it has to be no older then a 2014 and has to be from a dealership, I ideally want a Honda Accord. What’s so good cars to get besides a Honda and a Toyota? How many miles is to much, I will easily drive 10,000 to 20,000 miles a year and how much should I pay. Year vs mileage ratio | |||||

| Hey Scotty, I'm looking at a 2003 Lincoln Town car with 155,000 miles. It has already had the air to coil spring suspension conversion done which is why I am interested. It was driven by an old man for all 17 years and has documentation of changing the oil every 3,000 miles. Would this make a good first car? Will it be reliable for years to come? Would I be better of with a Camry or Accord? Thanks! | |||||
