I just bought a 1986 Toyota Corolla Sedan LE. It has a 1.6 SOHC and it is a manual transmission. When I try to start the car the starter clicks once and the digital clock dims out. Is this a battery issue? Thanks for your help. {black}:idontknow: {pear}:surprised:

Probably. How old is the battery? If the voltage at the battery is less than about 12.5 with the engine off, the battery is probably toast. Check all your connections at the battery, starter and grounds for cleanliness and tightness. Get a load test to confirm a bad battery.
