1996 Ford Ranger 2.3L Instrument Panel Temp Gauge Not Working

So I'm working again on my dad's neglected old 1996 Ford Ranger 4-cylinder crapbox and this time his instrument panel temperature gauge isn't working and I can't find a decent repair video on YouTube for it.

Apparently there are two temperature gauge sensors for this car, whereby one is for sending info to the computer and the other is for sending into to the instrument panel.  I'm not getting any dash warning lights or codes, so all I think needs addressing is the one to the instrument panel.

Does anyone know which of the two specific parts to get, where it's located under the hood, and how to replace it?

Thanks in advance.

The one for the computer is on top of the engine next to the coil pack. It has 2 wires going to it.

The one for the gauge is under the oil pressure switch. It's on the engine block (driver's side). It has 1 wire going to it. You access it from under the truck.

Edit: So the wire connector pulls right off. Grab a socket or wrench that fits onto the Sender. When you remove it coolant will leak out so have your new one on hand and ready to screw back it. Reattach the wire. Refill the radiator for any coolant that leaked out.

Antifreeze is toxic to animals so hose any coolant that leaked out off of the driveway.
