Should I buy a 1998 Toyota RAV4, automatic, with 60K miles for $6000? Private party seller.

If the mileage can be proven, it has a clean title, and a mechanic checks it out and says it is in good shape then it could be a good deal.

How can the mileage be proven?
A mechanic can use a scan tool to read the mileage as it is stored on the computer module in the car. Also, check the CarFax as an additional tool.
