2000 Civic LX Auto. Do I keep the Auto maintained?

I have a 2000 Civic LX with 162,774 miles on it and its in very good shape no leaks no dry rubber or really anything that's worn out all the rubber under the car look recently replaced too.  The prev owner was very kind to it (and so am I) but it does have the 00 Honda auto in it and I have replaced the lock up solenoid with a nos Honda part and it shifts smoothly now.  I'm asking long term would it be worth it to have the transmission worked on when the time comes at like 200,000+ miles

I don't drive long distances and I'm very light on the car, I really don't want to open a new can of worms with a different car (when the time comes) and older Japanese cars are getting more and more expensive.

What do you mean by "worked on"?

@chucktobias late 90s and early 2000s Honda autos are known for not being the best, What I meant by "worked on" is when the time for the whole transmission needing to be serviced inevitably. Would it be worth it? or do I just buy a new car.

If you're talking about installing a remanufactured transmission when yours craters that would cost thousands of dollars. Probably not worth it, assuming you could even get one. (Hondas of that vintage are best with manual transmission.)

@chucktobias Got it TY.
