I have a 2002 ford f150 4.6 auto 4x4 with 180K miles, recently the transmission went out and we replaced the transmission with a ford reman. The truck ran fine before but now we crank it up runs fine rev through-out the band no issues as soon. Once I put it in gear and start driving around 10-20 mph it starts stalling like flooding. I checked fuel pressure it seems to start stalling when the truck reaches 40psi of fuel pressure. Ive also disconnected the intake boot to check for air blockage, still same issue. I also don't have cats so I don't believe the exhaust is plugged up. Weird, any help?
Fuel Pressure: Specifications
Item Specification
Fuel Pressure
Engine Running 193-310 kPa (28-50 psi)
Key On Engine Off 240-310 kPa (35-45 psi)
Flow Rate 19 lbs/hr

All the ford forums I see its supposed to have between 32-45PSI
Online repair manual says 28-50 psi with engine running:
What did you find when you scanned for codes and analyzed live data?
@chucktobias scanned no codes, the only thing I saw weird on live data was the O2 sensors were jumping from 0.08-0.9.
That indicates an overly rich condition. (A narrow-band O2 sensor would normally be varying between about .1 and .9 volts after warming up.) What did your fuel trims look like? Any indication of excess fuel on the plugs? Drippy injectors would not be a surprise after 23 years.
@chucktobias Yes sir I believe the same thing. I pulled the spark plugs they look a little black but not dripping. The short term and long term trims good fine until it starts to flood, they all go to 0% when it floods. I took a video, https://drive.google.com/drive/search?q=IMG. Weird how this started after putting in a transmission.
@chucktobias Sorry here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dTGsbd-NFvqM7WS5LA17FpV0RN9Rz-_-/view?usp=sharing
@chucktobias strongly positive % means running lean, strongly negative % value means running rich. 0% fuel trim is the optimal value. Yours look fine. Why is the yellow light on? Do you have trouble codes?
@chucktobias I believe it just means its in diagnostic mode, because zero codes to be read.
the fact that the transmission was recently replaced, and the problem only happens in gear, makes me suspect the trans installation.
@imperator But what would cause it to flood like that from the transmission? I thought maybe the speed sensors so I swapped them from the old one still same issue.
Not sure .... torque converter clutch not disengaging? I would probably page through ALL the diagnostic data to look for anything unusual.
@imperator I think I might of pinched a wire between the bell housing and the motor. I cranked the truck today and it revved up and down every time it would rev up the gauge cluster and radio would turn off. Pulling the intake manifold to get access to the top of the bell housing wish me luck!
that would definitely do it
