I'm working on a Malibu that cranks but doesn't start. It has compression, spark, fuel pressure, but no injector pulse and no codes. My scanner always shows false for cam sensor signal when cranking. I scoped the cam sensor and checked the wiring all the way to the computer and have a good reading of 8 to 10 volts. I replaced the crank sensor, cam sensor, and computer, but the car still doesn't start.
The computer may need to be re programmed, usually only the dealer can do this. And how are the spark plugs, wires and boots?
It sounds like the PASS-Key/Passlock Anti-Theft is triggered. It works by cutting ground pulse to the injectors and you did indicate that you replaced the PCM.
Did you perform the 30 minute "Key Relearn Procedure" after you replaced the PCM?
If that doesn't work then you may want to consider replacing the Ignition Lock Cylinder. They're cheap.
The ignition lock cylinder contains the pass-lock security chip.
