Hi,
I am looking at purchasing a 2003 Mustang Deluxe Convertible with 119,000 miles from a pvt party. It's an automatic, v6, looks clean, no dents, no cracks in the leather, no visible rust. Underneath and under the hood looks clean. New tires. The only issue I have seen is a small tear in the soft top on the pass side, but I plan on driving this as a fun weekend car with the top down so I am not too worried. I can always fix it later and it will be garaged. Anything else in particular I should look out for in general or specifically with a mustang of that year?

That could be a good car to buy for the right price. A friend of mine from college has a 2004 V6 convertible. He got it in 2009 and we drove it all over in when we were school, 2010 to 2013. 12 years and 3 states later, he's still driving it. It was his first car, and so far his only. I'm not sure of the mileage he has, but I'm sure it's over 200k by now. Have a mechanic do a once over to make sure nothing serious is hiding somewhere.
