Hello. I have a 2003 Toyota Highlander 2WD V6 3.0L automatic with 67,000 miles. The driver side front sway bar end link has one rubber boot (lower) that is beginning to tear/rip. The link is still firm and doesn't have any play when I try to wiggle it. There is no knocking/tapping sound when I drive. Just wondering if I can wait to replace this end link or should do it now because of the ripped boot.

Well the boot just keeps it from getting corroded and wearing out. So if it's not worn out yet you can certainly wait but when it starts to have play then you have to change it

Thank you for the prompt reply!!!!
