2004 Camry V6

I got rear ended in my 1995 Celica and it was totaled out by the insurance and I was paid $2800 for it. Came across a 2004 3.0L V6 Camry for $3500 from the Toyota dealership  The car is clean (typical dealership detailing) all fluids are clean and full, no warning lights and unusual noises.

Is the V6 engine the one to avoid in the 2004 Camry.?

The dealer offered me $800 for the 2001 Chevrolet Malibu that I purchased from a neighbor for $300 with strict instructions to “Get this (censored) thing off his driveway.”  for temporary transportation.

In all the Camry (with taxes, plates) will cost me $400 with payout on the 1995 Celica and the trade on the Malibu-poo

How many miles on the Camry? Seems like a solid deal to me. Just depends on the mileage. The 3.0 is a great engine.

120,000, so I’m thinking a timing belt is due. Should chip the price down say $300 because the timing belt?

No an 04 V6 should be fine - one of the best years. Sorry about your Celica. Enjoy!

I got hit by a Fiat 500, that car was messed up and to be towed. I drove my Celica home.

Ofc lol, there tiny little sh** boxes. Yeah it's probably due for a timing belt due to age and mileage. Yeah I'd try to knock off $300. Same engine they used in the Lexus ES300

I've known a number of Fiat owners. The only one who was happy with their Fiat experience was the one whose Fiat was totaled while parked, as it only had 30K miles on it, and was just starting to rust and break.
