I have an oil pan gasket leak on my 2004 Honda Pilot since everything is dry above it and put leak dye. The question is, I can’t seem to find a replacement gasket for it. I did some research and supposedly only the steel oil pans use a physical gasket, while the aluminum pans just use the special sealant glue to seal it. Is this true? Maybe that’s why I can’t find a physical gasket for this car because I believe it’s an aluminum oil pan. Help I am confused

I know some Honda’s use RTV or Hondabond. If you want as close to OEM, stop by a dealer and see if you can get some Hondabond, although i conjecture almost anything similar should work.
