I have a 2004 Mercury Sable Ls Premium. It’s has 104,000 miles and has an automatic transmission. This car had many problems. First the ac/ heat will randomly just start and be at full blast without me touching it and the whole thing where the radio just stops working. The music will still play but I can’t change the volume or nothing. Also the transmission does slip at times in the morning but idk if that just not being warmed up at for highway speed or what but idk. The last problem would that when I go to start the car sometimes, it doesn’t start and makes a very weird noise that not many people have heard of. Thats the main issue but we did replace the starter thinking it was the starter but it still happens.
Well those stupid things are all computer run and most of the time it means that your dash unit is breaking down and it's turning itself on and off by the micro switch is just turning themselves on and off
