Hello Scotty and the community, I hope everything is well with you guys! I have a 2004 Volkswagen Golf 2.0 FSI, 160k miles and manual transmission (6-speed). It is equipped with the dual automatic climate control, which is great when it works, but since it has been causing trouble in summer for the past few years (only sometimes, but every year more often and worse), I have done some research. The problem is, that the airflow sometimes just stops when the motor is working at a high pace and no air comes out of the vents at all, even though you hear the motor working and blowing. When you turn the motor down at a lower pace, air suddenly comes out of the vents again, and when you turn it back up, it immediately shuts again. The other, very recent problem is, that even if the motor works correctly (which it sometimes does), it happens pretty much every time, that I drive a while and the A/C blows very cold air, then the air suddenly becomes less cold and sometimes even warm. Then it switches all the time between ice cold, somewhat cold and warm air, there is really no rule to it. It can be 1 minute warm air, it can also be 10 or 20. Same thing with cold and semi-cold air. I have recently done an A/C service and filled it up, so it is not due to that, and there is no leak. After doing some research, I came across, that it is apparently a well known thing with these A/C systems in Volkswagens and other people have had experince with it in Tourans, etc. The most common codes, which describe my problem perfectly are: V113 Recirculation Flap Control Motor, V71 Air Flow Control Motor (or Charge Air Pressure Flap Motor), G65 High Pressure Sensor and N280 Refrigerant Regulating Valve. Do you have any experience with these codes in these Volkswagens? Are they easy to fix when you know excatly what to do or should I just leave it like that? After all, the car is old and has some mileage on it, I wouldn't want to spend all that much money, since I don't mind when it's a bit hot, but thought, I'd like to fix it if it's cheap. When the summer is over, it doesn't matter anyways. Have a wonderful day and stay safe!

likely not.
Check the service manual: charm.li
The odds are there's no way you'll fix this on the cheap. (It is a 21 year old system)I wouldn't want to spend all that much money,
