My Chevy has 240k and was running strong, until one night I lost power. I jump started it and it was fine. The next day I couldn't start it so I proceeded to exchange the battery, and alternator. (Already had to parts to do it.) After installing still couldn't get a crank or start. So I then exchanged the starter and starter relays. Still no start. Swapped out the Ignition switch. Still nothing. My next guess is the Crankshaft Position Sensor. Am I overlooking something? Is the another issue I am not seeing?
Have you already followed the steps in Scotty’s video? - https://youtu.be/TSE0fOrujW0
Seeing how I replaced the battery..alternator..starter...etc. I guess I can try hotwiring it.. Im just not confident in that as a skill of mine.
Then take it to a good independent mechanic whom you trust & have them diagnose the problem. You don’t want to ruin your car accidentally doing something silly.
