2010 Infiniti M35 transmission fix fill plug

I'm having trouble figuring out where to put Lucas transmission fix in my 2010 Infiniti M35. I've been having a little bit of gear slippage and jerky gear shift recently. Instead of changing the transmission fluid first, I was thinking of putting Lucas transmission fix in the transmission to see if that fixes the problem. However, I can't find where the damn fill plug is located. It seems Nissan/Infiniti became stupid and removed the dipstick so that people can bring the vehicle into the dealer, and overcharge them. Well, I've already done that and the technician couldn't find the gear slippage during a test drive, and I was stuck paying $200 diagnostic fee for their "time." They probably didn't even drive the car to see what was wrong. I don't plan on going to a dealer to fix this problem, as I'm sure they'll rip me off. I'm curious if the drain and fill plug are one in the same, and I have to insert the Lucas transmission fix in the drain plug/insert. Does Scotty still work on cars and take new customers? I don't know if he answers these questions directly or not. I don't live too far from Tennessee, and I'm willing to make the drive just to get this job out of the way.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions.

he does. Info in the FAQ

Nissans do not have strong automatics. How many miles on yours?

101,000 miles.

I am not familiar with the Nissan/Infinity products but I found this; applicable to the 2006-2010 M35.

@avalon04 Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, Nissan/Infiniti removed the dipstick that was mentioned in the video for the 2010 model. I wish the dipstick was located right behind the passenger firewall area. This would be so much easier of a job. Thanks for the help though.

@samspade83 Sorry that did apply to your particular car. Did you also read the description that accompanied the videos? It states:

"The engine in your 2008 Infiniti M35 should be running when you perform a transmission fluid level check, otherwise it will be inaccurate. The video above shows where the transmission fluid dipstick or the transmission fluid check plug is located in your M35 and how to check the transmission fluid level. Your M35 will have either a transmission dipstick or a check or fill plug to perform a transmission fluid check. The transmission dipstick will typically be in the engine bay or on top or even the side of your M35 transmission. The transmission check plug will typically be on the bottom or the side of the transmission and may also be next to the axle. If the transmission fluid level in your M35 is low, you need to add transmission fluid through the dipstick tube or the check plug hole. When adding transmission fluid to your M35, be sure to add it slowly as it will fill up quickly and is difficult to remove excess fluid if you overfill.

If you are having problems with the transmission in your M35, such as clunky shifting or hesitation, check the fluid level first - it is amazing how many drivers pay thousands of dollars for transmission work when a half quart of transmission fluid would have fixed the problem."

Unfortunately they did not provide a video or photo for the fill plug location on the transmission housing. But it's there somewhere. You could try going to the Infinity dealership and ask the person at the parts department counter where the check/fill hole is located. They have all the diagrams on their computer and in my experience at Toyota Dealerships, the techs at the parts counter are usually most helpful.
