I'm interested in trading in my current truck for another vehicle. I was looking at this 2011 Honda Ridgeline RT 3.5L V6 that had 70 thousand miles on it for $17,995. Is the Honda Ridgeline a good truck and what other trucks other than a Tacoma should I be looking at for a new truck.
Sounds like a good deal. Most reviews of the Ridgeline state the obvious, which is it is plenty of truck for 85% of the truck-buying population.
I have a 2021 and I love it. I don't tow much...not over the 5,000 pound limit for sure, and the ride is way better than it has been in any F150, Ram, or Silverado I've owned. That's one of the benefits of a unibody design: a smoother ride.
That, and unibody vehicles hold up better in accidents than cab-on-chassis trucks.
If a mechanic checks it out and says it is in good shape, I'd say it could be a really good deal.

Maybe for lethal accidents, but not minor ones.
When you damage a weld seam on a unibody, the vehicle gets written off.
When you have a frame, body damage doesn't compromise the structure.
In Texas, every accident is potentially lethal. We have 75mph speed limits on the highways and most likely you're looking at a collision with a full size truck or SUV going 100+MPH. I'm good with it. {black}:laughingoutloud:
Assuming its unibody architecture meets your needs, yeah. Great trucks.
Whats wrong with it being unibody?
Unibody means it doesn't have a frame, so the payload and towing capacity probably isn't great
Oh okay, well I don't do much heavy towing so that wouldn't be an issue.
