I have been having this issue for about 6 months now this year 2021. When I’m driving my truck for about half an hour, check engine light comes on then within seconds traction control off light comes on and I start having slow acceleration when pressing on pedal. Like I can press the pedal to the floor and it accelerates slow. Then I turn off the truck then back on, trac light turns off and truck accelerates normal, but engine light is still on and it’s the same code p0344. Oil levels are good, recently changed camshaft position sensor, spliced the wires to the camshaft sensor with new connecter and wires because wires were damaged by the connector. Replaced spark plugs this year in January, just replaced fuel injector o-rings because two of them were leaking, checked the battery, battery is good, alternator is good, haven’t replaced crankshaft position sensor because truck still cranks and turns on. I also checked the voltage to the sensor and it’s 5 volts as it should be so I know I did a pretty good job with splicing so that’s not the issue. I have been doing a lot of research of people who had similar issues, but I can’t seem to resolve mine. Wondering if people is having similar issues on here and has had it resolved?
