[Solved] 2011 Toyota Corolla LE - Key won't go all the way in any of the doors

I've noticed just now that the key to my car gets stuck when trying to open doors or the trunk and no longer goes in all the way, so I can't open the car by using the key manually but I can by hitting the unlock button on the fob. This is affecting every keyhole in my car minus the ignition, I can still start the car.

I've tried with my spare and the same problem. About half the key is the key pattern and the other half is straight, and flat. The entire half with pattern part of the key goes into the hole but stops once it gets to the straight, flat part but all of it is supposed to go in. I've looked around to see what it can be to no avail.

I changed my car's battery at home. I'm not sure if that might have caused anything. I do know for a fact that the key worked at some point though.

I know this isn't a huge deal but I don't want to risk my fob not working anymore and not being able to use the key

Sounds to me someone is playing a bad prank on you and possibly shoved something in  all your external keyholes.  Lockpickinglawyer YT for knowledge or call locksmith.

Thanks, I will look into this along with lubricant like BC St suggested.

Seems kinda crazy that all the locks would not allow your keys to go all the way in, but crazy things happen sometimes. Try a little WD40 or lubricant recommended for locks on one of the locks and see what happens.

Thank you! I will see if that works. Only reason I didn't think it was an issue with lubrication was because it happened suddenly and at the same time. I feel like lubricant tends to fade away differently (even when applying to identical objects at the same time) so I thought I'd at least get different outcomes/ results from each key hole but it's the exact same thing
