I just wanted to know is if it’s normal to have a water pump leaking at only 66200 miles?

If it's leaking, it's leaking and needs to be replaced.  The timing chain replacement is a bogus dealership rip off.  Chains are usually good for 100-150,000 miles before replacement.  $530 to replace a water pump is Highway Robbery.  It is a $50 part and an hour's labor at the most.  Find an honest, independent mechanic.  Tell him/her you are going to be a regular customer for your services.  Establish a relationship.  You'll be glad you did.

More normal than it used to be

Hey Scotty thank you so much for responding. Also the Toyota dealer is charging $530 to replace it and while they’re in there they also want to replace the timing belt. What do you think?

@Mrpsychopath11 this is why you should never go to the dealer for services, especially now that the warranty is up. Find a good, honest, independent mechanic to replace the water pump.

Doesn’t your Camry have a chain?

Yea you’re right it is a timing chain. I still feel like their quoting way to much to get the water pump replaced though.

There’s a reason they’re called stealerships.. Why don’t you find an honest independent mechanic (like Scotty) in your area, and have them give you a quote? Ask around your friends & family for references..

If you live in one of the cities mentioned in the link, you can have them give you a fair estimate - https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/mechanics/
