2015 Honda Civic EX - what parts should I change?

Hey I recently traded down from a 2021 Honda Passport to a 2015 Honda Civic for practicality and fuel savings. The car has low mileage (20k) and I had the serpentine belt replaced, all fluids changed, battery is new, new air filters inside and out and I recently changed the spark plugs with iridium. Other than the flat spots on the original tires the car runs great, it has no rust or corrosion after being here in NJ for almost 10 years. Is there anything else I should change due to the age? Motor mounts look great so do the axles and tires.

If it still has the original tires they are overdue for replacement.

Oh I agree. They're still great with tread and aren't dry at all, and I brought this up to the dealership since the manufacture date is 5014 and with flat spots they still refused to change them even though they said they would have prior to me purchasing if they caught it. I'm looking at cooper tires atm

@gcc210 - It doesn't matter if they look great on the outside, though close examination may find some cracking. They can deteriorate on the inside where you can't see it. Cooper tires are a good replacement option.

Okay, other than the tires is there anything else I should look into due to the age? I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

It sounds like most if not all bases have been covered. Rubber parts deteriorate of course but should not be too much of a problem on a 10-year-old car. That car has a timing chain so there is no rubber timing belt to worry about.

Any products you can recommend to "rejuvenate" or atleast keep the rubber supple?

You could try what Scotty recommended a few years back. I don't know how much it really helps though.

Thanks! I have an appointment this Thursday to get American Tourer Sport Touring A/S tires put on my car. I'll look into that stuff while im out too! I remember seeing this vid but I've been following scotty for YEARS (how I learned to change my spark plugs among other things) and didn't know where to find the vid. Thanks Chuck!
