Hi Scotty! Our "new" 2015 Kia Sedona GDI van only has 40k miles on it. Should I consider doing a CRC intake cleaning at this mileage, or is it too early? At what mileage should this be done?

That's not a bad idea but keep in mind those cleaners are for people who don't have GDI injection and will get a lil bit of the carbon off so if you have significant build up it's barely gonna help. What you should do is take it somewhere and have them check and see if its bad enough to warrant cleaning because if it is your going to want them to clean it for you. Then if you do that THATS WHEN you can start using those type of cleaners and you call it preventative maintenance and I would run one of those every 5-10k miles.
