I like to drive my 2017 f150 using the manual shift option. Is using the manual shift risk any long term effects on the truck, or should it be okay?

It should be ok since it is designed in the factory.

Totally agree with yaser. Thing is are you being totally honest. If that has the 5.0 I could put some severe wear on that baby with the manual shift.
